Positions Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Transport Stakeside Driver to join our team. As a Transport Stakeside Driver, you will travel to and from fires and other disasters and provide Driving services for the fire. This includes but not limited to transporting hoses, lunches, garbage, and more. You may be gone for long periods of time, you may travel anywhere in the US, hours of working up to 16 hours a day. This is a SEASONAL per ASSIGNMENT position. Key Responsibilities: Transport Drivers • Equipment Maintenance • Other duties as assigned • Maintain Customer service • Driving Qualifications: • Must be 18 or over • Clean driving record Requirements: • Must be willing to travel at a moment’s notice • Must be able to camp out in the woods for extended periods with or without electricity • Must be able to use an outhouse • Must be able to be away from home for long periods • Must have clean driving record as approval for hire is dependent on insurance approval • Federal requirements DO NOT allow marijuana or alcohol on the premises as such you must not smoke or drink while out on assignment. Tobacco is allowed in designated areas. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time • Must be able to lift objects 50 pounds or lighter with or without assistants • Maintain physical ability to squat or bend • You must be eligible to work in the US. • You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application. • Subject to post-employment random drug and/or alcohol testing per local and state regulations • Must be available to work overtime, as needed. •Must be proficient in English (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, comprehending). •Red card Certified or able to obtain one •Current medical card or able to obtain one Preferred requirements •Spanish speaking ability is recommended but not required.
